Paid Parental Leave Incentive Program. And much more!Summary:We are looking for a dependable Powder Painter to apply high-quality powder-coat finishes on metal and manufactured parts. This role includes surface prep, operating powder-coating equipment, inspecting parts, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.Responsibilities: Paint parts according to customer specs and internal quality standards. Apply powder to the correct mill thickness per paint line monitor or quality sign-off sheet. Use film gauges, Delta-E meters, gloss meters, and visual checks to inspect parts. Keep powder-coating equipment clean and in proper working condition. Clean paint booths and spray guns to prevent color contamination. Maintain a clean, organized work area and remove excess powder buildup. Follow paint line monitor instructions for correct powder color and application. Assist team members during downtime or when the line stops. Regularly clean and organize the workstation.Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 6 months-1year of related experience preferred, or equivalent training Able to read and understand basic instructions, memos, and procedure manuals Able to write simple correspondence Comfortable communicating one-on-one with team members Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, factions, and decimals Able to follow detailed written or verbal instructions Able to solve routine problems in standard situationsPhysical Requirements Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands, and communicate Frequently required to reach with hands and arms Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. occasionally Visual abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsWork Environment Exposure to moving mechanical parts Exposure to fumes or airborne particles Noise level is usually moderate All required PPE must be worn in designated areas; Safety is our top priority!Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our workforce.
