DescriptionSaint Bridget Catholic School in Richmond, VA is seeking a full-time Art Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The Art Teacher is responsible for the planning, implementation, delivery, and execution of the school art program and all professional duties that pertain to the achievement of such. The Art Teacher will also participate in art education professional development opportunities, promote the art of Saint Bridget students by displaying art in the school and community, enter student work for consideration to be displayed in regional and national exhibits, stay apprised of current trends in art education, maintain and operate the kiln and printing press, and coordinate and present an annual art exhibit of student work to include students in grades JK-8.RequirementsAll candidates must have a degree and be certified in Visual Arts or a related endorsement by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Successful candidates will possess a strong commitment to Catholic education, superior communication skills both written and spoken, superior interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, flexibility, and are hardworking, collaborative team players.This is a full-time, 10-month position (Monday-Friday, 7:30-3:30, mid-August through early-June).
