Job DescriptionA manufacturing company is seeking a Mig Welder who will work hands-on with a variety of raw materials to build customer metal products for a diverse client base. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with overtime available.Duties: Fabricate and weld custom metal components from drawings to concepts Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum and stainless steel Use hand and power tools to cut, grind, fit and finish materials Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and work orders Operate shop equipment safely Assemble finished products with accuracy and quality Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment Job RequirementsRequirements: Must be proficiency with MIG Welding Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is preferred Must be able to accurately and safely use handheld grinders, drill presses and cordless drills, basic hand tools, measuring tools, torch and plasma cutter Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings Must be able to pay a strong attention to detail and quality Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have a strong work ethic and positive attitude Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
