This role serves as Principal-in-Charge, providing strategic leadership in operations, business development, and roadway design while driving growth across our Tennessee transportation market.If you are a Tennessee PE who thrives on business development, strategic leadership, and delivering complex roadway projects then this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.What you'll be doing:Own the strategic direction, financial performance, and operational success of the Brentwood officeDrive aggressive business development efforts with TDOT and municipal clientsIdentify, pursue, and win transportation opportunities across TennesseeServe as senior technical authority for roadway design and complex transportation projectsBuild, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering teamDevelop pursuit strategies, lead interviews, and strengthen key client partnershipsOversee project delivery to ensure profitability, quality, and schedule performanceCollaborate with regional leadership to expand market share and cross-office growthWhat you need to have:B.S. or M.S. in Civil EngineeringLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Tennessee15+ years of progressive transportation/roadway engineering experience5+ years leading engineering teamsProven success driving business development and winning workExperience working with TDOT and local transportation agenciesDemonstrated leadership in managing engineering teams and office operationsStrong financial acumen and project management expertiseAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
