FA - Maintenance ElectricianJob PurposeMaintains production reliability and product quality by ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, apparatus, and electronic components of machinery and equipment within a chemical manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOrganize work by reviewing work orders and gathering required tools and materialsPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems including robots, conveyors, PLCs, transformers, voltage regulators, and production machineryTroubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, blueprints, and technical manualsInstall new equipment including power supply wiring and conduit between machineryDiagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical systems (motors, transformers, lighting, control systems)Replace and repair components such as relays, switches, motors, printed circuit boards, and sensorsProgram and test automated equipment including robots and programmable logic controllersSupport production uptime by coordinating preventive maintenance effortsMaintain inventory levels of electrical parts and suppliesEnsure compliance with all safety procedures, electrical codes, and regulatory requirementsContribute to team objectives and support plant reliability initiativesRequired QualificationsDemonstrated experience in industrial electrical maintenanceStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsExperience with PLCs, automated systems, and electrical control panelsAbility to read and interpret schematics and blueprintsMechanical aptitude and experience using power toolsAbility to work extended hours as needed (over 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week)Must be able to pass a respirator fit testStrong safety mindset and attention to detailWork EnvironmentActive chemical manufacturing facilityRequired use of PPEExposure to production equipment, noise, and industrial conditionsAdditional RequirementsTechnicians participate in an on-call rotation (approximately one week per month)
