Seasonal Receiving & Restocking Associate

The Receiving & Restocking Associate plays a vital hands-on role in supporting the daily operations of receiving, inventory organization, and product restocking across the nursery. This full-time position ensures the timely, accurate, and efficient flow of incoming shipments from delivery to retail floor and greenhouse areas.This role is physically active and primarily outdoors, requiring consistent lifting of 50-70 lbs. and movement throughout the property. The Associate works closely with the Receiving & Restocking Manager and team to maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready environment.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in maintaining organization, safety, and efficiency. Lukas Nursery is proud to offer competitive, commensurate wages in addition to a variety of employee benefits including Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, 401K, Paid Time Off, Tuition Reimbursement, and more.Requirements Assist with unloading deliveries and verifying shipments against purchase ordersInspect incoming merchandise (especially plant material) for quality and accuracyLabel and organize inventory accurately upon arrivalSupport timely restocking of inventory across retail, greenhouse, and nursery departmentsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving and storage areaSafely operate equipment such as tractors, golf carts, and basic landscape toolsCommunicate stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages to managementAssist with inventory counts and stock organization throughout the yearFollow all safety guidelines and company proceduresCollaborate with team members to ensure smooth product flow and positive customer experienceMaintain a strong work ethic, accountability, and teamwork at all timesQualifications: Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, nursery, or inventory roles preferredComfortable working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions Ability to regularly lift 50-70 lbs. without strainStrong stamina and ability to remain on feet for extended periodsBasic knowledge of irrigation, plumbing, or landscape maintenance tools is a plusAbility to safely operate tractors, golf carts, or similar equipment preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentPositive attitude with a "Can Do" mindsetSelf-starter who can work independently and as part of a teamSpanish-speaking ability is a plusPunctual, flexible, and safety-consciousSalary Description $16.50 / Hour
