5th HQ - Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for coordinating procurement activities? seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Miramar. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our Purchasing Manager by ensuring the smooth execution of procurement processes and maintaining effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Salary: $20 - $25 Schedule: 8am to 5pm, Monday - Friday Responsibilities: Assist in establishing and maintaining procurement metrics, focusing on key performance indicators such as order placement, delivery times, and supplier performance. Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers. Generate and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Track and monitor order statuses to facilitate timely deliveries and maintain optimal inventory levels. Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues, expedite orders, and ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards. Assist in the development and maintenance of strong relationships with suppliers, fostering effective communication and collaboration. Support the implementation of procurement strategies to maximize value and efficiency. Collaborate with internal teams to gather information on material requirements and ensure alignment with production schedules. Generate reports and updates for management on the status of procurement activities.   Requirements: High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in a purchasing or coordination role is preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other procurement software. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
