Language: English or Spanish Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Computer Skills: Basic computer skills Other Requirements: * Knowledge of general safety rules and procedures. * Ability to use tape measure/ruler * Ability to take simple measurements in standard and metric systems * Familiar with mechanical movements of manufacturing machinery * Comprehension of temperature controls and gauges, pressure gauges, etc. * Comprehension of Hydraulics and pneumatics and understanding the mechanic aspect of machines Duties: * Operates and repairs assigned machines mechanically and electrically to ensure proper function. * Prepares production items set up to meet product specifications. * Monitors the quality of products to assure standards are met. * Monitors material stock to determine when materials are needed to manufacture products. * Meets productivity standards to achieve production schedules and service customers. * Monitors and remains accountable for overall production waste. * Maintains production schedules. * Monitors efficiency and identifies problems. * Completes required reports. * Packages products to meet customer specifications. * Responsible for housekeeping of assigned manufacturing area. Minimum Pay: $13.00/hr Work week: M-F, must be willing, able, and available to work overtime, weekends, and 12 hours shifts when required. Shift-Days or Nights: This position is an 8-hour shift. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts when required. Position will train on 1st. Once training is completed employee will be moved to assign shift. Shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM - 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Duration: Temporary assignment El Paso TX 3017
