Sales Engineer / E-Commerce SpecialistDepartment: EngineeringLocation: Milford, INReports To: Engineering ManagerPosition SummaryThe Sales Engineer / E-Commerce Specialist supports domestic and international sales teams by preparing accurate quotes, managing projects, and maintaining the company's E-Commerce configuration system. This role serves as the technical liaison between Sales, Customer Service, and Engineering to ensure successful quoting, order accuracy, and project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesQuoting & Project Management (50%)Review and log specially configured quote requestsDevelop pricing, equipment layouts, and supporting drawingsManage quoting tools to ensure accuracy and consistencySubmit quotes and track turnaround time, win rates, and financial performanceSupport order follow-up to ensure accurate parts lists and project executionE-Commerce System Management (50%)Maintain and update product configurators (new parts, substitutions, and engineering changes)Develop and enhance quoting tools and system functionalityProgram system updates or coordinate with external developersTest configurations to ensure accuracy and performanceQualificationsAssociate degree required; Bachelor's degree in technical or programming field preferred1-2 years of experience in project management, design, or related technical fieldProficiency in Excel (formulas/macros), Word, internet tools, and AutoCADStrong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKey CompetenciesIndependent, self-motivated, and detail-orientedStrong collaboration and cross-functional communication skillsHigh ethical standards and customer-focused mindsetAbility to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervisionWork Environment & TravelPrimarily office environment with occasional manufacturing floor visits (PPE required)Less than 10% travel, including potential international travelAbility to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
