CNC Operator Requirements: What It Takes to Get on the Floor High school diploma or GED required Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals Basic computer skills with the ability to access and update manufacturing databases/software Strong mathematical skills, including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages Ability to solve practical machining problems and interpret written, oral, and diagram-based instructions Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds regularly What You'll Be Doing Every Shift Fire up the CNC and keep it cutting - no babysitting, just skill and focus.
