Miami In-Person Tutor

Job DescriptionLeading and Learning is looking for highly-motivated, compassionate individuals who have a love for teaching and helping others achieve their academic goals. Tutors are primarily needed for high school and early college level courses. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to tutor math up to Calculus 1 as well as an additional subject (physics, chemistry, biology, history). Any additional subjects are a plus, as are AP or IB courses.Tutoring opportunities are conducted in person throughout the Greater Miami Dade area. This position is an excellent opportunity to earn additional income and gain experience in education, all while allowing for a flexible work schedule. Pay starts at $50/hr and is subject to increase depending on subject and driving distance.RequirementsBachelors degree or in pursuit of one (at least 30 credits earned)Able to comfortably teach math up to Calculus 1Able to work in the US without visa sponsorshipResourceful and adept at lesson planningReliable mode of transportationPrevious experience tutoring/teaching preferred but not requiredBenefitsFlexible scheduling: tutors choose the number of clients they work with based on opportunities available and can tailor their workload by taking clients that fit their respective schedules
