Job Description:Community Engagement Strategy & Research Intern We are seeking a Community Engagement Intern to join our Team! Are you passionate about community engagement and strategic program development? Self-Help is seeking an intern to assist in building relationships and coalitions with mission-aligned organizations and fostering a culture of service within the organization. Our work focuses on serving members and potential members, partnering with small businesses and nonprofits, and advancing clean energy finance, wealth building, affordable housing, social drivers of health, and economic mobility-with a strong emphasis on growing deposit allies and impact capital. WHAT You'll Do: Assist in developing tools to support community engagement effortsConduct research to inform community outreach initiativesEngage with the community to raise awareness about programs, services, and opportunities that align with organizational goalsHelp implement outreach projects to strengthen community relationshipsWHAT You'll Need: Undergraduate or graduate students, recent graduates welcome to applyDemonstrate a sincere interest in non-profit work, education, advocacy, or social workExcellent interpersonal skillsProficient written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAn enthusiasm for learningStrong attention to detailHourly Internship pay starting at $25 an hour in Washington, DCSelf-Help is an equal opportunity employer.
