This role plays a key part in maintaining organization in the kitchen, supporting team leadership, and ensuring quality and efficiency during food preparation and service.What you'll doSupervise kitchen team members during prep and service to ensure efficient workflow and consistent executionAssist with food preparation, cooking, and plating according to established recipes and presentation standardsSupport Chefs with daily production planning and station organizationMonitor food quality, portioning, and presentation to ensure brand standards are met throughout serviceEnsure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standardsHelp train and onboard new kitchen team members on procedures and standardsMaintain organization of workstations, walk-ins, and storage areasAssist with inventory management, product rotation, and minimizing food wasteCommunicate clearly with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth service executionQualifications2+ years of professional kitchen experience in a high-volume or upscale dining environmentPrevious leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and sanitation standardsAbility to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork skillsFlexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidaysCulinary training or degree preferred but not required with relevant experience
