Our projects include new hospitality projects, retail malls, apartment buildings, tenant improvements for high-end retail stores, building additions, multi-million dollar luxury residences, etc.Start Date: ASAPCandidate ProfileRJC Engineers US Team is seeking a Junior Structural Drafter/Designer to join our growing team in either our Las Vegas or New York office. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced structural engineers and gain hands-on experience producing structural drawings for a wide range of building types and construction materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to grow within the structural engineering and design field.Key ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but are not limited to:Prepare structural design drawings using AutoCAD and RevitDevelop structural plans, sections, details, and sketchesCollaborate with engineers to translate design concepts into construction documentsFollow established document flow, drafting standards, and detailed instructionsAdapt to a fast-paced work environment while managing multiple tasksWork effectively as part of a collaborative design and engineering teamProfessional Qualifications & ExperienceEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEMinimum of 2 years of experience in structural draftingStrong proficiency in AutoCAD and RevitLong-term interest in structural drafting and designAbility to self-start and contribute positively to team effortsCreative, detail-oriented, and well-organizedMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesCOMPETENCIES & ATTRIBUTESTechnically proficient in CAD and REVIT.Structural drafting knowledge across all phases of projects.Fast learner who can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Team player who is assertive and able to work with minimal direction.Hard worker who is ready to assume responsibility quickly.Inquisitive, clear thinker who can determine what work is required and who can draw rational conclusions from information available.Attentive to detail and have a desire to grow professionally and personally.Able to conceptualize structural and architectural details in three dimensions.Dependable and willing to work extra hours when required.Committed to client service and technical excellence.Be your Authentic SelfAt RJC, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone is valued and respected.
