Job Description: SUMMARY:Immaculata University invites applications for a part-time Dietetic Internship Assistant Director/Clinical Coordinator in the Department of Health, Nutrition and Exercise Sciences. This position supports the Dietetic Internship Director with administrative and teaching responsibilities within Immaculata University's Dietetic Internship. This includes coordinating and evaluating supervised practice rotations, managing intern progress, maintaining strong relationships with affiliated sites, assisting with student recruitment and retention, teaching courses in the Nutrition program and various administrative and accreditation-related tasks as assigned. Individuals with a strong desire to contribute to the education and mentorship of future nutrition practitioners are encouraged to apply. RESPONSIBILITIES:Secure, assign, and visit rotation sites and maintain affiliate site relationships.Maintenance of intern records.Assist with Dietetic Internship manual review and revisions.Participate in Advisory Board meetings including preparation and recording of minutes.Assist with internship recruitment and admissions processes.Prepare reports for ACEND and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.Teach courses within the nutrition curriculum.Participate in Department of Health, Nutrition, and Exercise Sciences and campus events to support institutional goals and community engagement.Perform additional duties as assigned by the departmental chair and dean.Immaculata University is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. Exceptional time management and accountability are a must.Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule including evenings with a minimum of 2 days per week on campus.Able to provide own transportation and be comfortable traveling in the tri-state area (Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs, New Jersey & Delaware) to visit current and potential rotation sites.Preferred Requirements: Educational background and experience with education of future healthcare professionalsAdditional Information: Special RequirementsBackground check required after a conditional job offer is made.
