Position Overview The Regional Division Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing all operational functions within the Division, including project management operations, field operations, estimating, scheduling, warehousing, onboarding, permitting, and office management. This role ensures seamless coordination, communication, and efficiency across all teams. The Regional Division Manager partners closely with key stakeholders including Safety, QAQC, Talent Acquisition, Purchasing, Accounting, IT, Business Development, Prefab, and BIM to drive safe project execution, quality assurance, and operational excellence. This role also provides mentorship and career development support to personnel across the Division, contributing to long-term organizational growth and success. Key Responsibilities * Oversees and manages processes, staff, and resources to ensure operational efficiency, safety compliance, and successful project execution within the division. * Develops and implements best practices for project management, resource allocation, scheduling, and risk mitigation. * Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and collaboration across all teams. * Provides mentorship, coaching, and development to all managers within the division. * Coordinates with preconstruction, procurement, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless project delivery. * Establishes, tracks, and analyzes labor performance metrics, KPIs, and division goals. * Monitors project milestones and adjusts schedules or plans as required, documenting delays and notifying general contractors in accordance with contract terms. * Reviews contracts prior to final execution and participates in hiring decisions for the division. * Attends project meetings, job start-ups, and lessons-learned reviews to ensure alignment across all phases of work. * Leads regular meetings with all department managers within the division to maintain communication and alignment. * Makes daily operational decisions and resolves issues to keep projects on track. * Stays current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive operational excellence. * Ensures compliance with all local and state codes, permitting requirements, lien laws, and regulatory standards. * Coordinates with the corporate estimating team and local estimators to prepare and submit budgets, estimates, and bids. * Manages the division's client and vendor relationships, ensuring strong service and partnership. Qualifications Minimum: * Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). * Eight (8) to ten (10) years of progressive experience in electrical construction operations, including three (3) to five (5) years in a supervisory or management role. * Strong working knowledge of electrical construction processes, project management principles, and industry best practices. * Demonstrated experience in project logistics, manpower planning, and operational execution. * Proven leadership and team-development skills, with the ability to mentor, coach, and support multiple operational teams. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in fast-paced and dynamic environments. * Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization. * High degree of integrity, professionalism, and accountability. Preferred: * Experience supporting or aligning with division-level or regional strategy, even if not the primary creator of it. * Proficiency with construction software, scheduling platforms, and project management tools. * Additional industry certifications or coursework related to construction leadership, project management, or electrical systems. * Experience working with cross-functional teams such as preconstruction, procurement, safety, finance, or BIM. * Background supporting large commercial projects or multi-project operational oversight. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Strong knowledge of [relevant codes, regulations, or practices] * Proficiency with [specific tools, systems, or software] * Knowledge of electrical construction operations, project delivery methods, and safety protocols. * Knowledge of contract review processes, labor planning, and prefabrication strategies. * Skill in managing, developing, and coaching high-performing project and field teams. * Skill in scheduling, manpower forecasting, and applying metrics to measure performance and progress. * Ability to lead complex operations and make strategic decisions under pressure. * Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments. * Ability to estimate electrical projects ranging from $500K to $50M+. * Ability to align departmental strategies with broader company goals and organizational initiatives. Work Environment * Medium work environment. Indoor and outdoor work with exposure to uncomfortable and hazardous physical, ergonomic, and/or emotional environment. Work requires lifting up to 50 pounds and wearing protective equipment; exposure to environmental conditions, weather, climbing, crawling, lying, and working under pressure.
