Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Engineer with a strong understanding of technology and equipment used in heavy civil construction. The ideal candidate will possess an engineering degree, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. This role will involve ensuring that all construction activities meet or exceed quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols for heavy civil construction projects. * Conduct inspections and audits to evaluate compliance with quality specifications and standards. * Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues. * Utilize technology and equipment effectively to monitor and assess construction processes. * Prepare detailed reports and documentation regarding quality control findings and recommendations. * Provide training and guidance to construction teams on quality assurance practices. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Construction, or related field). * Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. * Minimum of five years of experience in quality control within the heavy civil construction industry. * Strong understanding of construction technology, equipment, and industry standards. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
