Dry Force is hiring a Mold Technician for a full-time position in Austin, Texas.As a Mold Technician, you will be responsible for performing mold remediation services in residential and commercial properties. This includes setting up containment, removing affected materials, and ensuring all work is completed safely and according to industry standards. Mold Technicians are often working directly with customers during stressful situations, so strong professionalism and customer service are essential.Responsibilities:Perform mold remediation and mitigation services in homes and commercial buildingsSet up containment barriers and negative air systems to prevent cross-contaminationRemove and dispose of mold-affected materials following EPA and company guidelinesClean, treat, and sanitize impacted areas using approved antimicrobial solutionsOperate air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA filtration equipmentConduct post-remediation cleanup and prepare areas for restoration workFollow OSHA safety requirements and company protocols at all timesDocument job progress through photos, notes, and daily updates using a phone or tabletCommunicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team membersAssist with emergency response projects as needed (water/fire restoration support)Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to lift 50 lbs. or more and perform physically demanding work1+ year of mold remediation or restoration experience preferredIICRC certification (AMRT) preferred, or willingness to obtainKnowledge of containment procedures, PPE, and HEPA equipmentValid driver's license and clean driving recordMust be able to work overtime as needed and occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shiftsDry Force Restoration is a trusted leader in water damage restoration, mold remediation, and disaster recovery services across Texas.
