You'll work with a cross-disciplinary team to support the development of system models, technical documentation, and integration workflows for complex systems in aerospace and defense.This internship is ideal for students interested in digital engineering and automation, and who are eager to apply classroom learning to impactful, real-world challenges. You'll receive one-on-one mentorship, exposure to industry tools, and a front-row seat to the future of digital acquisition.What You'll DoAssist with system modeling using MBSE tools and templatesDraft and maintain internal documentation and diagramsLearn and apply Python to automate basic modeling or data tasksParticipate in team standups and receive mentorship from senior engineersEssential Job DutiesModeling Support: Assist with creating and maintaining system models using MBSE tools (e.g., SysML, Cameo/MagicDraw).Python Scripting: Learn and apply Python to automate repetitive tasks, validate models, or support early data analysis.Technical Documentation: Contribute to internal diagrams, model annotations, and structured technical documentation.Team Collaboration: Participate in agile ceremonies like standups, demos, and retrospectives; ask thoughtful questions and seek feedback.Version Control & Traceability: Learn how models and data are tracked and structured using tools like GitLab.Skills and QualificationsEducation: Enrolled in a bachelor's program in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or a related STEM field.GPA: Minimum 3.5Programming Exposure: Basic familiarity withPython (coursework, personal projects, or research).Tool Curiosity: Interest in learning MBSE tools such as MagicDraw/Cameo, Enterprise Architect, or similar.Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication; able to ask good questions, write clean documentation, and collaborate across teams.Growth Mindset: Self-driven, curious, and eager to learn digital engineering workflows in a real-world context.Tenet3 provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.
