In this position, you will use a forklift or pallet jack to move items to the staging area and make sure they are packaged correctly before loading them onto the delivery trucks.Although there are no educational requirements for this role, you must have basic math and reading skills.Dock Worker Duties and Responsibilites:* Assist with loading and unloading trucks* Move items to staging area using a forklift or pallet jack* Ensure items are packaged safely before shipping* Maintain a clean and safe workplace* Unloading cardboard and plastic materials, including cases and empty trays and totes* Heavy lifting, up to 40-50 pounds$15/hr. to startDock Worker Requirements and Qualifications:* A high school diploma or GED* Forklift certification a plus but not required* Experience in a warehouse environment or shipping environment* Physical stamina Why Giant?We pride ourselves on cultivating a culture of care and offering opportunities to better yourself professionally and personally.
