Were seeking a Production Associate - Metals who's ready to be part of an innovative, people-first brand shaping the future of the roofing industry.ABOUT THE ROLE Duro-Last Roofing, the world's largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has an opening for a Production Associate at the company's Dallas, Texas location. The Production Associate's primary goal is to manufacture high quality products, free of defects, and to also fulfill customers' needs and expectations. This is a full-time, hourly based position with an additional potential safety bonus. The shift is M-F 6am-2:30pm. The position will report to the Plant Supervisor. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Make high quality products, free of defects, to fulfill customers' needs and expectations Learn all the basic level tasks including how to operate production equipment and learn manufacturing procedures Accurately complete all required production paperwork Attend and participate in scheduled Company meetings including all plant, production, and safety meetingsKeep work area clean and neat to ensure there are no safety hazards and that the area is presentable for guests All other duties as assigned WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR High School Diploma or GED is required At least 18 years of age Able to work in a team and have initiative to get the job done Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screen, physical, and background checkBend, push, carry, lift up to 50 pounds Available to work up to a 12-hour shift and weekends when necessary Previous manufacturing experience is highly desiredPrevious experience in metal fabrication: basic manufacturing of sheet metal and machineoperations, including shearing, notching, punching, folding, rollforming, welding and basicpackaging operations.
