Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Responsibilities: - Process and record incoming invoices while ensuring proper coding and adherence to company policies. - Manage outgoing payments, including check runs and electronic transfers, in a timely and accurate manner. - Reconcile accounts payable transactions and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. - Communicate with vendors to address inquiries, resolve payment issues, and maintain strong relationships. - Assist with preparing expense reports and ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines. - Support month-end close procedures by providing necessary documentation and reconciling accounts. - Collaborate with internal teams to obtain approvals for payments and verify expense allocations. - Maintain the accounts payable ledger and ensure all transactions are properly documented. - Prepare detailed reports on accounts payable status for management review. - Assist with audits by providing relevant financial data and supporting documentation. Benefits + Medical/dental/vision + 401K Requirements Keys - Basic knowledge of accounting principles and budgeting practices. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Ariba or Oracle Cloud. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in record-keeping. - Ability to perform data entry and reconcile financial transactions effectively. - Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams. - Previous experience in accounts payable or a related field is preferred. - A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is a plus but not required. - Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
