Business Analyst

Title: Business Analyst Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 12 Months - Possible Extensions. Responsibilities: * Business Requirements: Gather, document, and manage detailed business requirements for custom application development and enhancements. * Agile Practices: Actively participate in sprint ceremonies, including planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. * Collaboration: Work closely with developers, project managers, and business users to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. * Adaptability: Take on additional responsibilities as needed in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Day to day: * Interact with application developers, application Client and PMs, other portfolios, Vendors, portfolios PMs, Architects, Developers, and QA testers, for full life cycle of a project. * Interview stakeholders, subject matter experts and facilitate JAD sessions to gather and document requirements. * Work with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize product enhancements, while simultaneously crushing technical debt. * Serve as the bridge between the business team who create the API requirements, and the back-end development team who understand the back-end systems and data sources. * Experienced in writing User Stories, Acceptance criteria for User Stories and managing the Product Backlog Items through the product life cycle. * Experienced in working with distributed teams in complex environments, onsite-offshore model, vendors, and stakeholders from across the organization to ensure the success of the product. Qualifications * Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. * Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment. Technical Skills: * Experience working with AWS Cloud technologies or projects desirable. * Experience with AWS DevOps, Jira or similar technologies for documenting and tracking requirements. * Java, SQL, development knowledge is a plus. Must have Soft Skills: * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. * Comfortable in a dynamic and evolving team environment.
