Job DescriptionReal Estate & Lease AdministratorOur client located in Phoenix, AZ is looking to add an experienced Real Estate & Lease Administrator to support a growing commercial real estate portfolio. This is a direct hire onsite opportunity.Company Profile:Non-ProfitNationwideReal Estate & Lease Administrator Role:The Real Estate & Lease Administrator is responsible for coordinating and managing lease documentation, transaction materials, and due diligence processes while ensuring favorable deal structures and compliance with key lease provisions.This position plays a critical role in protecting the organization's legal and financial interests by reviewing, negotiating, tracking, and administering commercial real estate agreements. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, contract-driven, and experienced in commercial lease administration within a multi-site environment.Lease & Transaction ManagementRead, analyze, and provide feedback on commercial leases and subsequent lease revisionsCoordinate negotiation of lease provisions with landlords, landlord counsel, and related partiesReview and negotiate Estoppel Certificates and Subordination & Non-Disturbance Agreements (SNDAs)Abstract and interpret lease documents into the company's lease management systemMonitor and track key lease provisions including commencement dates, renewal options, co-tenancy clauses, expiration dates, and notification deadlinesCoordinate collection, execution, and filing of real estate transaction documentsDue Diligence & Legal CoordinationReview and analyze due diligence materials related to LOIs and new lease agreementsWork closely with supervisor and outside counsel to incorporate key legal provisionsPartner with zoning and land use attorneys on entitlement, special use permit, and rezoning mattersAttend zoning hearings and neighborhood meetings as neededCross-Functional CollaborationServe as primary liaison between Property Managers and internal teamsInterface with Retail, Construction, Facilities, and other departmentsProvide transaction updates and reporting to senior leadershipSupport preparation and coordination of real estate-related events and industry functionsMarket & Portfolio SupportAnalyze demographic data related to new and existing sitesSupport long-term real estate strategy initiativesRepresent the organization at commercial real estate industry events as neededReal Estate & Lease Administrator Background Profile:Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactionsStrong experience reviewing, administering, and negotiating commercial leasesDirect experience with Estoppels and SNDAsAbility to read and interpret contracts, regulations, building plans, and specificationsWorking knowledge of zoning regulations and land use processesExperience interfacing with city government or officials preferredParalegal background with emphasis in commercial real estate preferredProficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPointExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsValid driver's license with clean driving recordComfortable working in a structured, document-intensive environmentStrong communicator who can interact across all levels of an organizationProactive in tracking deadlines and protecting contractual rightsAble to manage multiple transactions simultaneouslyFeatures and Benefits:PTO, Sick Days, and Paid HolidaysMultiple Healthcare Plans401k and more!
