They are responsible for driving a talent acquisition strategy for F3 Law as we grow into our national presence. This role is responsible for attracting, vetting, and overseeing the hiring of our high-caliber legal professionals-including associates, and paralegals-as well as operations staff, contractors and summer associates. This role will act as a bridge between the firm and the talent market, ensuring F3 remains competitive in a fast-paced legal landscape.Responsibilities Drive a national recruiting strategy targeting public law, litigation, and education attorneys. Support and Identify creative approaches to attract qualified, diverse, active, and passive candidates for open positions and future opportunities. Work with leadership to determine lateral hiring needs and manage the offer and onboarding process. Analyze recruiting trends and implement strategies for sourcing lateral associates. Implement cost effective recruitment plans that minimize time-to-fill, optimize fit and retention and place top-quality, diverse candidates in open positions. Recommend and routinely assess and manage local third-party vendors, headhunters, and job boards for current F3 needs. Share insights in market changes and hiring climate, to support and design new approaches for the department with CHRO. Measure and report on talent pool KPIs, including throughput, candidate experience and successful hires.Summer Associates Program: Increase firm visibility at law schools and foster relationships with career services and student organizations for current and additional regional law schools for long term pipeline programming. Manage and nurture relationships with affinity bar associations and diverse law student organizations. Manage the summer associate program, including events, training, assignments, and evaluations.Management: Recruiting Team Management Manage and develop the local recruiting team. Review team performance and coaches weekly to ensure we are hitting all key talent acquisition metrics which includes time to fill. Administrative/Compliance Maintain and manage the recruiting department budget. Provide counsel to hiring managers on matters pertinent to internal mobility and external hiring to ensure adherence to established company policies and procedures; and compliance with California Labor Laws. Ensure compliance with hiring policies and affirmative action guidelines. Recruiting Oversee full lifecycle recruiting of top tier candidates including sourcing, screening, interviewing, providing feedback / recommendations, and assisting the candidate through offer negotiations and acceptance. Ensure outstanding candidate experiences throughout the interview, offer, and onboarding process Oversee ATS optimization and recruiting systems. Oversee candidate communications, and database management for recruiting. Leverage employer branding and proactively looks for innovative and new industry best practices with recruiting, interviewing, and sourcing to ensure we are hiring top talent, managing silver medalists and applicant regrets / referrals. Leadership Drive positive relationships with hiring partners and recruiting committees. Manage internal communication of candidate activities and progress reports to all stakeholders (candidates, hiring managers, internal notice boards, etc.) Partner with CHRO/COO on annual workforce planning and headcount forecasting. If applicable: Lead 1L and 2L interview processes, including strategy, registration, callbacks, and offer follow-up. Collaborate with recruiters across offices to ensure consistency and share best practices. *Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Experience: 7-10 years of recruiting experience, with at least 5 years specifically within a law firm or a legal search firm. Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field. Legal Literacy: Familiarity with legal terminology, practice area nuances, and market-standard compensation structures. Discretion: High level of emotional intelligence and the ability to handle confidential partner-level discussions with extreme professionalism.
