As a family-owned small business, we are committed to creating a rewarding work environment for all employees as we continue to grow.We are looking for a Yard Assistant to join our team in Pacific Beach, CAEssential Job Functions: Meet & Greet customers Assist customers with product selection and sales Load customer vehicles, checking for accuracyWeigh trucks when neededCoordinate yard upkeep with yard foremanEnsure proper tagging, weighing, and storage of productsEnsure scales and yard areas are clean of debrisMaintain tool cleanliness and product organization/visibility in yardOperate equipment as needed using checklist and safety measuresAssist Drivers when neededEstablish sales leads from customersParticipate in progressive training on current and new product linesComplete product knowledge testingJob Requirements:Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds Prior forklift experience/certification a plusAbility to work rotational weekends Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment including loadersLearn material within a successful timeline Rotational weekends requiredBenefits: Employees receive health benefits such as vacation accrual and sick pay, paid holidays and the opportunity to participate in a generous 401(k) program.
