Job #:  147600 Title:  Equipment & Tool Engineer Location:  North Charleston, SC Salary Range:  60.08 Position:  Equipment & Tool Engineer Description:  ENG- Develop and implement complex aerospace equipment and tooling concepts to support production system integration. Validate analyses, influence engineering designs, and ensure compliance with safety, reliability, and regulatory requirements. Lead acquisition, modification, testing, and documentation of equipment and tooling while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Support production readiness, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.Requirements:  #Job Details*Facility Type: Engineering / Systems Support*Aircraft Worked: DoD/Military*Job Duration: 12 Months*Schedule: First Shift, 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM (occasional off-shift support)#Education & Job Requirements*Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non-US equivalent qualification directly related to the work statement.*A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a production and/or manufacturing environment.*A minimum of 5 years of experience using Microsoft Office and office computing systems. *Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study and typically 9 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD plus 4 years of related work experience, Master's plus 7 years of related work experience). ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.#Preferred Skills*Experience in Model-Based Definition, CATIA, ENOVIA, and PDM.*Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).*10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. *Experience providing product definitions and technical support to groups, suppliers, and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.#Job Duties & Functions*Design, analyze, and modify aerospace manufacturing equipment and tooling to meet stakeholder requirements.*Research, develop, evaluate, and integrate robotics, automation, and new technologies and processes for applicability to programs and products.*Team with cross-functional subject matter experts to develop and review bids and procurement specifications.*Estimate, plan, manage, and execute the acquisition and modification of equipment and tooling.*Develop and implement testing and acceptance processes to validate performance.*Create and maintain related documentation, develop preventative maintenance plans, and train personnel as needed.*Develop and implement interim solutions for damaged or unsafe equipment and tooling.*Investigate engineering changes and control equipment and tooling configuration in accordance with company procedures. *Develop and recommend equipment reliability improvements through the application of reliability engineering tooling.#TeamGlobal Benefits*Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), and more!*TG Rewards Program *Employee Referral ProgramJob Type:  Temporary Post Date:  02/20/2026
