Inventory Control Team Lead

ResponsibilitiesAssist managing and mentoring Inventory Specialists and staffMaintain and review efficient and accurate inventory management procedures, consistent with company policy and procedureProvide accurate and timely order entry for operationsSafeguard inventory assets to facilitate shortage detectionInitiate and maintain an efficient cycle count strategyMaintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustmentsMake system adjustments as required and analyze results of counts to initiate permanent corrective actionsFollow client's disposition of damaged and/or expired product, including shipment for destructionProvide timely and accurate responses to Customer Service and initiate cycle count requestsReview and analyze weekly inventory report to determine error causes; initiate corrective actionSupport product recall return process through physical identification and segregation of productResponsible for running of reports, reconciliation of final count variances, and all other reconciliation activitiesProcess accurate perpetual inventory adjustments to match physical inventory movement, when necessaryOther duties as assignedQualifications and Job SpecificationsBachelor's Degree in Science or HealthCare related field or equivalent is preferred.
