Assembly Technician

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing all pipe, vessel, and structural assembly tasks required to build fully functional process equipment units for client delivery.This position plays a key role in mechanically assembling equipment, performing pressure tests, and ensuring all completed units meet engineering specifications, production timelines, and GasTech quality standards. Our goal is to deliver the highest-quality process equipment in the industry-and we're looking for team members who take pride in helping us achieve that.A Assembly Technician is expected to:Fully complete all piping spool fit-ups and assembliesPerform all hydro and pneumatic pressure testingAssemble all vessel internals and external accessoriesPrepare equipment for shipment with full accuracyCut and prep all required pipe and structural componentsLoad and unload equipment independentlyRead drawings and P&IDs with strong proficiencyHave full knowledge of valves, fittings, instruments, and quality requirementsWork quickly while maintaining accuracyMaintain top-tier housekeeping and safety practicesDemonstrate strong decision-making skillsShow some leadership ability and planning skillsRequirements High school diploma or GED requiredStrong proficiency in pipe and structural assembly within pressure piping and process vessel manufacturingDemonstrated mechanical and piping aptitude with experience appropriate to the roleVocational welding training preferredFamiliarity with ASME/ANSI Piping Codes preferredAbility to maintain integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityWorking knowledge of shop processes, materials, equipment, and assembly tools strongly encouragedStrong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities
