We are looking for a Drafter for our DeLand, FL office!Summary: Develop and produce shop/installation drawings of Kingspan insulated metal panels in commercial, industrial, cold storage, and architectural applications. Essential Duties: Develop Kingspan shop drawings as defined in the scope of work provided by customer submitted drawings and specs. Interpret information from internal order acknowledgement (products sold) and customer-supplied structural and/or architectural plans. Draw floor plan, sections, elevations, and details per Kingspan drafting and product standards. Coordinate panel analysis with Kingspan engineering personnel. Conduct quality checks on peer drawings and bill of materials. Review and update drawings to customer redline corrections as needed. Provide preliminary take-offs on every project to verify materials that will need to be ordered by customer service. Interface with required internal and external project stakeholders. Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Group Compliance. Follow Compliance requirements per "KNA-SOP-1705 Compliance Roles and Responsibilities." Performs all other duties as assigned. Education/Experience: Associate degree (or higher), Technical degree, or appropriate level of related experience. Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings. Previous experience preferred in pre-engineered metal building and/or architectural design. Good communication and mathematical skills. Ability to meet deadlines and problem-solve with minimal supervision. Travel up to 10%Computer Skills: Competency in AutoCAD required. (Revit experience a plus). Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook. Dexterity & Coordination: Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, operating office equipment, and interacting with digital tools. Visual & Auditory Requirements: Requires specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus for reading, computer work, and document review. Cognitive & Communication Demands: Requires sustained mental focus, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Effective verbal and written communication, including collaborating with others, phone calls, emails, and in-person discussions. Work Environment: Typical office setting with controlled lighting, temperature, and noise levels.
