By joining our network, you position yourself for opportunities aligned with your career goals.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) on a range of materials.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine specifications.Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, adherence to specifications, and structural integrity.Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery safely and effectively.Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures according to engineering drawings.Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.Measure and cut metal materials accurately using various cutting tools.Recommended QualificationsProficiency in common welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick).Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.Demonstrated understanding and adherence to safety procedures and protocols.Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial welding environment.Ability to inspect finished welds for quality and compliance with specifications.AWS certification or equivalent professional welding certification.Bonus QualificationsExperience with multiple welding processes (e.g., TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored Arc Welding)Proficiency in basic metal fabrication techniques (cutting, grinding, fitting, layout)Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematicsExperience with quality control procedures or visual inspection of weldsJob Titles That Should ApplyWelder, Fabricator, Structural Welder, Pipe Welder, MIG Welder, TIG Welder, ARC Welder, Certified Welder, Fitter Welder, Welding Technician, Welder Fabricator, Ironworker, BoilermakerWhy Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
