Review and approve MEP designs and specifications while providing expert guidance on complex system integrations and regulatory compliance. Manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers and project managers, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and fostering a culture of innovation. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and senior leadership, translating technical project status into clear, actionable insights. Conduct site inspections and audits to identify technical discrepancies and implement mitigation strategies for potential project risks. Develop program-wide budgets, monitor project costs, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising design integrity. MUST HAVES Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 10+ years of project management experience, spanning from design development through construction administration for complex commercial or industrial projects. Deep knowledge of building codes, ASHRAE standards, and industry-specific regulations. Advanced skills in Autodesk Suite (Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks) and Bluebeam Revu. Demonstrated experience in BIM coordination and clash detection for large-scale developments. Exceptional ability to communicate technical design content to non-technical stakeholders and present clearly to senior executive leadership. PLUSSES Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is highly preferred. Direct experience managing MEP systems specifically within industrial or high-tech facilities. Experience with energy modeling programs and sustainable building practices (e.g., LEED or similar frameworks). Proven track record in value engineering and implementing process improvements that significantly increase team productivity. SALARY COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $59 - $61 per hour.
