IT Install Technician - Houston, TX

Our enterprise-level client is seeking to add an IT Install Technician to the team in Houston, TX. Please see below for full details-   Job Notes: -- 6-12+ month contract / extensions and perm conversation are possible, but not guaranteed. -- Onsite in Houston, TX 77073 -- Drug & Background required.   Pay Rate = $22 w2 per hour + benefits   Primary Responsibilities: Support day to day operations of the PC Depot, including device imaging, configuration, deployment, and hardware refresh activities. Perform workstation installations, upgrades, and replacements for employees across the site. Provide hands on technical assistance in the Tech Lounge, including troubleshooting laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals. Assist users with software installations, account access issues, and basic application support. Maintain accurate records of deployed equipment, asset tags, and inventory levels. Ensure all work follows standards, security requirements, and deployment procedures. Coordinate with the onsite CE team and remote support teams to resolve escalated issues. Deliver a positive customer experience by providing timely, professional, and friendly support. Skills & Requirements: Experience with Windows 10/11 imaging, device setup, and hardware diagnostics. Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast paced, walk up support environment. Comfortable lifting and moving computer equipment as needed. Work Environment: Split between the PC Depot (hardware prep, imaging, inventory) and the Tech Lounge (walk up support, troubleshooting, deployments).
