Our associates are expert quality assurance professionals with broad experience and local knowledge who can represent our clients on-demand and on-site faster than our competitors.We are looking for a detail-oriented Visual Inspector to join our team in Hawthorne, CA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in visual inspections, preferably within the aerospace industry or a related field. This is a full-time position, 3- month contract with first-shift hours (10- hour shift). Key Responsibilities:Conduct hands-on visual inspections of components for damage, rust, burrs, foreign object debris (FOD), scratches, dents, and other surface imperfectionsPerform detailed visual checks to ensure parts meet quality and cleanliness standardsInterpret basic engineering drawings and notesTake basic measurements using standard tools when needed but mostly this will consist of visual inspectionMaintain a clean and organized work area to comply with FOD prevention and safety standardsWork effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple inspection tasks while maintaining attention to detailFollow all safety protocols, quality procedures, and company standards to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirementsCollaborate with team members and other departments to support production schedules and quality improvement initiativesSkills and Qualifications:Experience inspecting mechanical parts (client-specific training provided)Must have good communication Proficiency in verifying products against drawing requirementsStrong communication skills and technological proficiencyMust be willing to undergo a background checkMust be able to meet ITAR requirements Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with aerospace quality standardsExperience interpreting engineering drawings and specificationsExperience using hand precision tools $25 - $28 an hourSQA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
