ServiceNow Tech Lead/Developer

Akkodis is seeking a ServiceNow Tech Lead/Developer for a Contract with a client in Princeton, NJ. Candidates must demonstrate deep expertise in ServiceNow configuration, customization, and API‑based development while supporting secure, scalable platform deployments. Rate Range: $60/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. ServiceNow Tech Lead/Developer job responsibilities include: * Lead the design, development, and enhancement of applications on the ServiceNow ITSM platform. * Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, UI components, workflows, and integrations. * Develop solutions using ServiceNow APIs, scripting, and automation capabilities. * Oversee platform upgrades and deployments while ensuring system stability and performance. * Maintain and enforce required information security controls across the ServiceNow environment. * Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions and provide technical guidance. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. * 7-8 years of hands-on experience developing, customizing, and maintaining applications on the ServiceNow platform. * ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) with proven experience implementing modules such as ITSM, ITOM, or ITBM. * ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) with strong expertise in API development, platform upgrades, and security controls.
