Test Driver - Corona, CA

Kett Engineering is accepting applications and pre-qualifying candidates to be test drivers for either a morning or an afternoon shift. This program is working with our customer in a research and development program in Corona, CA.The Test Driver follows the direction of Lead Driver and/or Project Coordinator, performs various driving services on vehicles per shift according to customers specifications. and represents Kett Engineering in a professional manner.We are looking for candidates that are available to work full time hours.Typical Hours are Monday through SaturdayPay rate: $18.00/hr.Morning: 4-5am-2:30pmAfternoon: 2:30pm-1amRESPONSIBILITIES: Complete a full vehicle evaluation and complete a clear and concise report and any other records for each vehicle during assigned shift. Drive on designated routes for 8 - 10 hour shifts while performing test procedures. Participate in all vehicle testing including but not limited to driving and designated special tests. Operate vehicles in an extremely safe manner, obeying all laws of the road. Maintain safety and security procedures. Must be comfortable driving in inclement weather.REQUIREMENTS: Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 5 years. Have no major traffic citations, and/or accidents for the past 3 years. No alcohol related violations on your driving record. Able to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screening, written driving test, a road driving test and read maps. High school graduate or equivalent required. Ability to drive for prolonged periods of time. Accurately communicate detailed findings verbally and legibly write detailed findings on reporting forms. Follow directions and execute tasks. Be reliable and maintain good attendance. Complete required trainings. Have a positive attitude and ability to contribute to a team environment.
