Title: Senior Manager of FacilitiesDepartment: AdministrationSub-Department: FacilitiesReports to: Chief Administrative OfficerFLSA Status: ExemptJob Summary:The Senior Manager of Facilities oversees all aspects of ABS leased facilities and works closely with colleagues in all departments to support the facility needs of ABS staff and serves as the primary interface between ABS and third-party service providers.Minimum Spiritual and Personal Commitment:Demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ. Demonstrate alignment with the vision, mission, and values of American Bible Society.Key Responsibilities:Responsibility 1: Maintenance and general upkeep of 148,000 RSF of leased and subleased spaces to ensure all facilities are operating in a cost-effective, safe, and productive condition.Responsibility 2:Collaborates with other stakeholders, including IT and HR, to improve existing support processes and infrastructure.Responsibility 3:Act as liaison for all building services. Comply with all lease terms, conditions, and policies.Responsibility 4: Oversee facility contracts, Non-Inventory Purchase Requests, other purchase requests; assure the accuracy of invoices then processes them for payment.Responsibility 5: Manage and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all vendors and contracts.Responsibility 6: Responsible for creating and executing facilities budget.Responsibility 7: Assist in the coordination of facility support for all special events and catered meetings/receptions.Responsibility 8: Assist in the management of all internal construction and refurbishment projects.Responsibility 9: Assist in all furniture procurement, maintenance, and repair.Responsibility 10: Manage the life safety program, including fire safety, medical response, AED/CPR and Food Protection Manager certifications.Responsibility 11: Manage all facility operations related activity to resolve problems including building maintenance and ensure prompt resolution, and end user satisfaction.Responsibility 12: Manage security systems, including access controls, badging, and video surveillance.Responsibility 13: ABS primary point of contact for building or system related alarms or emergencies.Responsibility 14: Coordinates with stakeholders to project manage seating needs and space forecasting and repositioning. Consults with ABS, facilities, and supply chain leadership on future space needs.Responsibility 15: In coordination with vendors, coordinate a team of hourly facilities staff. Selects best qualified candidates as part of the contracting process and oversee their orientation.Responsibility 16: Oversee office supplies levels and ensure supplies are ordered to maintain inventory.Responsibility 17: Maintains documentation as required by regulatory agencies, policies, and procedures.Responsibility 18: Implement the continuous improvement process, champion proactive maintenance to drive cost savings and increase quality improvement. Responsibility 19: Conduct quality inspections of finished work product. Ensures work is being performed to contract standards.Responsibility 20: Provide 24/7/365 response to critical facility needs.Responsibility 21: Supervisory Responsibilities: Coordinate direct and indirect supervisory responsibilities for 1-2 staff following the ministry's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining staff, gathering feedback, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. Responsibility 22: Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree or related experience.Experience: 5-7 years in facilities management.Technical Skills: Budget planning.
