Staff Accountant (Temp to Perm Hire)

Summary The position of staff Accountant is a staff to senior level accounting position, individual contributor, responsible for assisting all accounting and financial reporting activities. This position will work closely with the Sr. Accounting Manager and Chief Financial Officer, and other organizational leaders. Essential Duties Reports to the Sr. Accounting Manager and assists in all phases of fiscal functions with emphasis in the area of accounting, budgeting, and control to maintain fiscal reportsAssist with budgeting, accounting, internal control policies and procedures, and prepare related manualsOversee accounts payable and account receivable processMonitor and reconcile general ledger (GL) accounts monthly, including various intercompany accountsHelp prepare financial reportingAssist in the annual auditsParticipate in year-end closing process and preparation of annual financial statementsReview and analyze the financial statements and audits as requiredCommunicate positively and effectively with management team, other departments, consultants/contractors to coordinate, implement, review, and strengthen financial procedures and controlsMaintain and establish vendor relationships to support the organization Main Qualifications: 2-3+ Years Accounting ExperienceBachelor's DegreeNetSuite ERPStrong Microsoft Excel Preferences CPA or MBANon-profit, government, or EducationMulti-entity, intercompany transactions environmentFinance, Budgeting and/or FP&A experience All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
