About role: The Director, Compliance & Risk Management (DCRM) is the organization's senior compliance & risk management leader, responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-wide compliance, ethics, data retention/destruction, and risk management discipline. This role also serves as the organization's HIPAA Privacy Officer. A direct report of the chief human resources officer, the DCRM also has direct report-out responsibilities to the CEO and Board of Directors, and provides vision, coordination, training, and centralized monitoring across the enterprise, ensuring compliance excellence and proactive risk mitigation. In addition, this role serves the entire Wilder organization leading a unified compliance and risk management strategy in a matrix environment. The DCRM defines the standard framework, standards, processes, systems, and cadence for program-specific compliance activities embedded throughout Wilder's diverse portfolio of services-such as community mental health, early childhood education, aging services, housing, and research. The DCRM ensures that the organization adheres to complex requirements stemming from federal, state, and local regulations as well as private funders' requirements. Qualifications: Qualifications include ten or more years of professional experience in healthcare compliance, business process improvement or risk management, five or more years of leadership experience in a matrix environment, leading direct reports as well as cross-functional teams. Excellent skills in documentation, project management, interpersonal communication, cross-functional collaboration., organizational savvy, leadership communication and influencing skills. Deep compliance expertise in healthcare or social services sectors strongly preferred.
