Job Title: Day Services Assistant Manager Location: Avon + Canton, CT Employment Type: Full-Time, (FLSA) ExemptSchedule: M-F, 1st Shift, 8a-4p (40 hours/week)Annual Salary: $45,000Reports To: Day Services Manager, Coordinator and/or Director Department: Day ServicesAbout the Role:Favarh is seeking a proactive, creative and energetic Day Services Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our Day Services programs. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the Day Services Manager to ensure smooth program delivery, staff coordination, and enhanced opportunities for individuals to achieve their highest level of independence. Staff Management & Development:Complete daily staffing assignments and adjust as neededAudit staff training in Relias; provide support and follow-up for completionSupport the implementation of positive reinforcement and team-building strategiesAssist in disciplinary procedures in accordance with agency policyDocumentation & Quality Assurance:Audit Therap documentation daily (ISP's, T-logs, GER's, etc.)Maintain up-to-date files and records for program participants and staffComplete Individual Progress reviews and LON updatesAttend IP meetings and ensure timely documentation submissionEnsure compliance with DDS quality indicators and support QA and Health & Safety effortsSystems & Coordination:Maintain a caseload of program management responsibilitiesSupport department managers as assigned by leadershipAssist with system improvements and implementation with approval from leadershipMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1-2 years of relevant experience or Associate's degree with 3 years of experience in Human Services. Experience may be accepted in lieu of Degree. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environmentFamiliarity with Relias, Therap, and person-centered planning preferredValid Connecticut driver's license with a clean driving recordPhysical & Work Environment Requirements:Ability to stand/walk for 4-6 hours and sit for 1-3 hoursMust be able to drive for periods and lift to 75 poundsRequires bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, and reachingAbility to use hands for fine manipulation and operate foot controlsWork occurs in programs, community, and office settingsVisual abilities required include close and distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustmentWhy Join Us?Join a mission-driven team passionate about empowering individuals with I/DD.
