This organization is commercializing a breakthrough additive manufacturing platform that enables full scale fabrication of high performance thermoset and ceramic composite structures using automated, data driven factory systems. We are seeking a hands on Manufacturing Engineer who will play a central role in launching and improving an industrial scale composite 3D printing facility. You will operate CNC and additive systems while also developing processes, designing tooling, and driving production efficiency. Backed by strong investment and active government programs, our team is building smart factories that modernize how advanced hardware is designed and produced.Job DutiesRun and optimize CNC mills and lathes for machining of composite and advanced material componentsExecute trimming, drilling, finishing, and post processing operations on additively manufactured partsSupport operation, setup, and troubleshooting of robotic additive manufacturing systemsAssist with material preparation and composite paste mixing processesDevelop and improve scalable production processes for composite hardwareLead process improvement initiatives focused on yield, throughput, cost reduction, and cycle timeEvaluate production data to identify constraints and implement corrective actionsDesign and refine machining fixtures, jigs, and workholding solutionsCollaborate with design engineering to apply Design for Manufacturability best practicesCreate and maintain work instructions, control plans, and manufacturing documentationPerform dimensional inspection using standard metrology tools to verify compliance with aerospace specificationsParticipate in root cause investigations and corrective action implementationSupport new product introduction by transitioning hardware from prototype builds into repeatable productionContribute to capacity planning, workflow optimization, and equipment utilization strategiesWork cross functionally with quality, engineering, and operations teams to resolve manufacturing issuesQualificationsBachelor's degree or upcoming graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline2+ years of machining, manufacturing, or technician experience including internships or hands on projectsExperience operating CNC mills and or lathesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerance requirementsExposure to machining, fabrication, additive manufacturing, or composite production environmentsStrong analytical and structured problem solving skillsComfortable working in a hands on, hardware focused settingAbility to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controlsPreferred ExperienceExperience in aerospace manufacturing or composite materialsFamiliarity with extrusion-based 3D printing or advanced additive manufacturing systemsExperience with composite material mixing or resin preparation processesWorking knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack analysisExposure to manufacturing systems such as MES, PLM, or ERP platformsExperience in a fast paced startup or research and development environmentWhy Join UsOpportunity to help scale a breakthrough composite manufacturing platformDirect exposure to cutting edge additive and automated production systemsHands on engineering ownership with visible impactEarly-stage equity opportunity with high growth potentialCollaborative and mission driven team environmentPaid vacation, sick leave, and company holidays401(k) matchingComprehensive family medical, dental, and vision coverageCompensation Details$70,000 - $90,000
