JOB PostingJOB TITLE: Boat Rental AssociateDEPARTMENT: Rental BoatsREPORTS TO:Dockmaster or General ManagerPOSITION PURPOSE:The Boat Rental Associate is responsible for carrying out operations for the marina. The Boat Rental Associate's primary responsibility is the customer. Every task at the marina from interfacing with the customer when they first come to the marina, explaining in detail the different Boat Club packages that are available and leaving a lasting impression. The Boat Rental Associate projects a professional company image through all types of interaction. As this is a fast pace environment, must be able to work under pressure. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Upon greeting guests, provide property tours to prospective club members, giving detail to all the packages that are offered.Provides the highest level of customer and guest services Assist in the planning and hosting of events, at the marina and offsite, to promote the boat club.;Maintain a professional relationship with all agencies, contractors, vendors, and customers;EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Must have highly effective communication skills and time management skillsMust be able to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activityBasic water skillsWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) poundsMust be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergencyMust be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionallyMust be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.STATEMENT OF PURPOSEThis document provides descriptive information about the above Suntex Marinas position.
