Micross STS operates in Milpitas, CA, reporting to the Micross corporate HQ in Melville, NY.The Micross STS team is the last line of defense for testing, screening, and ensuring the reliability of integrated circuit products used in jets, rockets, satellites and spacecraft exploring the universe. The senior Test Engineer must possess curiosity and mental ingenuity to design a validation solution for many differing types of products RF, FPGA, VLSI ASICs, Memories, and Mixed Signal products. If you have a broad range of software and hardware skills, positive, driven, personable, energetic, this is the place that will challenge, promote your growth and development within a friendly environment.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 10 years of related professional experience. Master's degree highly desirable.V93000 ATE or other ATE test engineering experience in Unix, Linux, C, C++ to convert integrated circuit design into device validation thru vectors implemented on ATE test equipment.Strong trouble shooting skills with a demonstrated ability to solve technical problems.Demonstrated ability to lead a test development project from SOW all the way to hardware and software development and program releaseProficiency with ATE equipment, relevant software languages and the various subsystems contained within is highly desired.Demonstrated use of lab equipment listed (power meters, oscilloscope, logic analyser, multi-meter, and other equipment) Experienced with Python for programming and writing routines to control external lab equipmentAbility to work in a fast paced, project oriented, team environment. Highly Desirable Duties & Responsibilities:Experience in RF bench test equipment setup, instrumentation testing knowledge and experience using test and measurement equipment. Analyze and evaluate specification versus performance to ensure the reliability of the product meets or exceeds the requirements.Demonstrated knowledge of circuit schematic design and validation of the design of interface hardware such as PCB DUT boards, sockets, evaluation, and burn-in boardsSemiconductor industry product development experience in military, aerospace, highly reliable products characterizing/testing digital, mix signal, RF ICs and componentsNI LabVIEW IC electrical test development experience is highly desirable Architect, design, develop and test FPGA/Memory/RF IC solutions for the test and measurement industryExperience with high speed communication interfaces between FPGA, microcontrollers, and PC.Experience with ADC, DAC, IC Temp Sensor, LVDS, SerDes, and communication interfaces (I2C, Ethernet, PCI, USB, SPI, UART, GPIB, ETHERNET)Proficiency in Linux, specifically as it relates to the Verigy9300 Operating System and Smart Test SoftwareOther Duties & Responsibilities: • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. • Participate in continuous improvement team and company efforts.Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing, or using for benefit.Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times; perform other related IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This position is in an ITAR-registered facility, US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent resident) status is a must.At Micross, our Core Values of integrity, communication, teamwork, quality and execution, self-discipline and accountability are cultivated throughout all levels of the organization.
