IT Support Engineer

Title: IT Support Engineer Location: New York, NY Position Type: Contract Compensation Pay range:$49.00-$70.00 Per Hr Position Overview: Join a dynamic team in New York, as a Contract IT Support Engineer.  This role involves providing support in a helpdesk setting with opportunities for growth in scripting and DevOps.  The position requires hands-on problem-solving skills and familiarity with common office technologies. Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage the ticket queue efficiently. Prioritize and resolve technical issues related to email, printing, and user access. Conduct onboarding and provisioning for new users. Troubleshoot access issues, including login and multi-factor authentication. Document processes and support system improvements. Qualifications Strong fundamentals in helpdesk and support roles. Interest or experience in scripting languages. Basic understanding of DevOps concepts. Ability to troubleshoot independently and escalate when necessary. Eagerness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
