Community Outreach Coordinator Rockingham Community Outreach Coordinator Qualifications Computer Skills Job Description: Job Description The Community Outreach Coordinator is an experienced professional responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships through community outreach activities. This position develops business arrangements and relationships with businesses, individuals, schools, and other organizations interested in supporting Goshen Medical's general operations and program areas. This position interfaces regularly with the leadership and reports to the CEO or designee. Coordinate with COO and Site Leaders for staffing for the Mobile Units Work with Clinical Director to ensure appropriate medical and office supplies are available for events Responsible for meeting projected enrollment goals by outreached to community Focus on contact with community members, through development of relationships and collaboration with schools, parent organizations, community organizations, churches, industries, and other entities Develop public education and information materials, presentations and displays Organize the maintenance of a community database of interested parties and issues Organize, attend, and present at business, community, and neighborhood group meetings Interview patients and assist with forms and authorizations Obtain contact information of the interest candidates whenever possible and obtain permission to contact for follow-up Complete and submit mandated program documentation to the CFO and/or COO immediately following community outreach events Able to perform assigned duties with a minimum level of supervision and identify problems and recommend solutions Complies with Goshen Medical Center policies and procedures related to administrative tasks (i.e., timely submission of timesheets, adherence to current mileage reimbursement per IRS guidelines, etc) Perform miscellaneous projects as assigned Must have reliable transportation to perform outreach duties. Requirement: 3 years' work experience in a medical office or 2 year degree or at least 60 semester hours from a community college or university in business management or health care management.
