The Marketing Manager will provide strategic, imaginative, endlessly curious ideas running successful campaigns for a nonprofit organization or consumer brand. This manager will lead multi-channel campaigns, shape our digital voice, and help bring more families, partners, and community members through our doors.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Craft and lead marketing campaigns Coordinate with entire Marketing team to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and sales strategies Oversee the Museum's social media outreach and assist with other public relations efforts, including:Oversee outward communications, to include social, website, and emailOversee content creation, including graphics and photography, to be used for PR campaignsOwn our digital universe by optimizing website, customer data, and branding, reducing dependence on third-party algorithms for traffic and engagement Collaborate across departments to create, evaluate, and refine Museum special events to generate earned revenue Oversee earned revenue events logistics Gather customer feedback through surveys or event interactions and support data analysis SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the day-to-day work of the Marketing Associate and Marketing Interns Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and manage performance concerns with guidance from leadership and HR Conduct interviewing, selection, onboarding, and training of new staff members ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with the coordination and implementation of promotional events and partner engagements Collaborate in cross-departmental initiatives that promote the Museum's mission and brand Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field 5-7 years of marketing experience with a track record leading multi-channel campaignsExperience running nonprofit or consumer brand campaignsExperience with web optimization; creating and organizing content with strong SEO and user-friendly experienceAdvertising experience across digital, print, and broadcastKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written High level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with customer databases and social media platforms a plus Google Ads Manager expertiseStrong knowledge of MailChimp, CMS platforms, and social scheduling toolsAnalytics and data interpretation skillsEnthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn with a proactive work ethicADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSValid driver's license, own vehicle and good driving recordFlexibility with work schedule, as necessary, to support weekend scheduling and/or evening activitiesWORKING CONDITIONSCustomary office-related activities: standing, walking, sitting, bendingMust work onsite at the museumPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSModerate lifting (up to 15 pounds)BENEFITS Paid Leave 401(k) with employer matchEmployee Assistance ProgramMuseum MembershipPet Insurance
