In this role, you will help oversee project scope, budget, and timelines while applying established project controls practices and sound analytical judgment. You will assist with cost forecasting, schedule management, and performance reporting to help ensure projects remain aligned with organizational objectives. Projects are often complex, multi-year infrastructure efforts that involve collaboration with cross-functional teams and multiple locations.This position offers an exciting opportunity to strengthen your skills in project controls, financial analysis, and scheduling while contributing to the successful delivery of critical infrastructure initiatives.Your Day-to-Day Activities:Input and analyze financial forecast data using SAP and Primavera P6Develop and maintain project schedules, including work breakdown structures, dependencies, and baselinesAssist project managers with business cases, contingency releases, and budget managementMonitor and update cash flow projections to ensure fiscal alignmentAnalyze and report on project cost and schedule variancesDevelop and maintain tracking tools and reports for performance monitoringMeasure progress of key milestones and activitiesSupport contract administration, including processing change orders and accrual validationTrack and document monthly accruals for project-related liabilities incurred during the reporting periodCoordinate with project teams and stakeholders through regular meetings and updatesTrack action items and ensure accountability across team membersPrepare and deliver progress reports to project managers and supervisorsMaintain meeting minutes, action logs, and stakeholder updatesIdentify and track project risks, escalating issues to maintain cost and schedule integrityThe Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related fieldExperience in project scheduling and financial analysisExperience with Primavera P6, including use of dependencies, cost loading, resource loading, and resource levelingStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis toolsYou'll stand out if you have:Proficiency with SAPFamiliarity with Unifier or ProjectWise project management softwarePMP or equivalent certificationStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityInterest in mentorship and continuous learningCompensation & Benefits$115,000-$140,000 annual salaryPaid holiday, sick, and vacation timeMedical, Dental, and Vision CoverageHealth Savings Accounts (HSAs)401(k) with Company MatchAnnual BonusTuition ReimbursementPaid Parental LeaveFlexible Spending Account (FSAs)About TD ThorntonSince 2005, TD Thornton has been helping our clients bridge organizational gaps by providing best-in-class consulting services and staff augmentation.
