Job Description

Description We are looking for an Events and Operations Coordinator to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is a Contract-to-permanent position that requires a dynamic individual skilled in event coordination, operational support, and program management. The role involves overseeing organizational events, providing executive-level assistance, and ensuring smooth execution of key initiatives. Responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and execute organizational events, including managing logistics, budgets, timelines, and resources. - Coordinate event registration, guest interactions, scheduling, and on-site operations to ensure seamless execution. - Develop packages and establish partnerships to support events and detail-oriented development programs. - Collaborate with vendors, venues, and stakeholders, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery. - Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and identify areas for improvement. - Provide executive-level support by coordinating meetings, managing travel arrangements, and prioritizing communications. - Oversee leadership and volunteer programs, including scheduling, budgeting, participant training, and graduation ceremonies. - Maintain and update procedural documentation to ensure clarity and accuracy in organizational processes. - Act as a backup resource for the Membership department and assist with additional tasks as needed. Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent is required. - Proven experience in event coordination, project management, or operations is preferred. - Strong organizational and planning abilities with excellent communication skills. - Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Experience working with confidential information and maintaining discretion. - Comfortable working in-person and collaborating with executive leadership and committee members. - Proficiency in customer service and administrative support. - Familiarity with event planning and coordination tools and techniques.
