Packaging Operator -Night Shift (2-2-3)

Our products have a worldwide reputation for their high quality standards.The Packaging Operator manages the pack-out station in accordance with latest Baerlocher USA safety and production standards.Primary Responsibilities:Packaging of material produced on production lines, and assistance during clean-out/change-overAbility to assume additional responsibilities of Lead Operator on a temporary basis in the event of Lead Operator absenceCommunicate with Production Foreman and other Production ManagementMaintain a clean and safe work areaOther duties as assignedEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Proper and safe operation of all production linesExecute production start-ups, shutdowns, and change-overs per Production Management's requestWork to meet shift production goals safely and while maintaining quality via direction from Lead Operator and Production ManagementResponsible for in-process quality control. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications and reject product outside of specificationsOperate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety/regulatory procedures (Lock-out/Tag-out, Confined Space, Wastewater, etc.)Conduct in-process quality testingCandidate QualificationsMinimum Requirement: Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalentKnowledge of and experience with the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. This is normally acquired through two to five years of manufacturing experienceManual dexterity required for operating machinery and computersAbility to lift up to 100 poundsStrongly desired: Previous chemical plant experience
