Material Handler

Reeb®, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a Material Handler - Picker to join our team to pull customer orders from the warehouse and stage and/or load in their assigned area on the loading dock.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manually pick and stage correct warehouse items at the appropriate loading dock locationUse of hand-held scanner to locate items and move them to appropriate dock doorMove any damaged or non-conforming items to the appropriate area for reclaim or RTVUse of a forklift and order picker will be requiredConduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standardsMeet standards for quality as set forth by the company by inspecting product as pulled and/or loadedAssure proper housekeeping and organization on the loading dock and warehouse aislesStrive to meet team efficiencies for items pulled without compromising accuracyMay be required to assist in unloading or loading trucks when necessaryPerform other duties as assignedExperience : Six months to one year related experienceSKILLS & ABILITIES Computer Skills Use of computers helpfulOther Requirements Must be able to read and understand EnglishAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsGood hand and eye coordinationAbility to follow oral and written communication from supervisor, lead or co-workerForklift/Cherry Picker ExperienceSpecialty Building Products is the leading distributor of specialty building products in North America.
